Would a Daiwa trigger spin reel, make a good saltwater reel?
Until the salt water effects the inner workings of the reel. Most plastic and metal parts unless treated either corrode in a short period of time
from the salt water. I would suggest not to use it unless you have no more need for it shortly there after or you don’t mind replacing the reel every few weeks.
