The Quantum Cabo 40. The spool has slightly more room on the Quantum but the big difference is the quality of the drag and the bail trip. The mechanisms are coated (epoxy for bail trip and ceramic for drag) and extremely durable and reliable even when subjected to severe weather. Great for salt water fishing. The Shimano is still a good reel. It may save you some dollars over the Quantum and holds only a little less line as the Quantum. Performance is very similar. Hope this helps!
