What fishing reel is better?
the Shimano TLD or TLD Star?
Abu Garcia.
Shimanos are too weak. You have to baby them. I’ve had both brands and I’ve been beating the same Abu Garcia reels up for years in the corrosive S. Texas atmosphere cathing everything from 6 foot sharks to speckled trout and then turn around and head inland for Bass when I need to.
You can’t go wrong with Abu Garcia. I’ve had them for years. I go through Shimanos in a few months.
