good inshore rod and reel combo?
hey im a bass fisherman and i am also a saltwater fisherman ,but i use my grandpas fishing rods&reels and even though they are top of the line(shimano gloomis st.croix) i want my own rod and reel to use for inshore use (1-20ft water depth) the targeted species are redfish snapper trout grouper kingfish mackerel bonita snook and maybe a small tarpon……i was thinking on buying the Shimano stradic CI4 43000 model but i dont know what rod to pair it with my budget is 100-200 bucks for the rod any other sudgestions would be cool thanks
It’s all about feel… Do you like the feel of your Grandpas rods? If so get a new one of those. I heavy medium heavy action rod will be fine and a 7ft is always a good length.
