What rod should I get?
Hi. I planning to buy a good quality all-rounder fishing rod and reel (Shimano Crucial/Shimano Stradic 3000), but I’m not sure whether to get the 6’6 or 7′ rod. What are the pros and cons? I know isn’t a big difference but I want to make the best purchase.
I mainly do light/med fishing, targeting bream, snapper, whiting, flathead, threadfin salmon and jewfish (10kg). I’m usually on a boat, but sometimes on land.

the 7′ would be better becuase it will be sturdier and you can cast further but you can still catch small fish as easy as you would on the 6’6″ but with the 6’6″ it wont catch bigger fish as much so the 7′ can do anything the 6’6″ can do and more so why pay the same price for a rod thats not as good
