Gold Penn rod and reels?
my paren’t used to do alot of offshore fishing. They have 5 or 6 Penn rod and reels (gold) in very good condition considering they were used about 20 yrs ago. They have been stored extremely well and my parent’s took great care of them. I don’t fish and neither do they anymore. We’d like to sell them, but I
have no idea what they are worth. Any help is greatly appreciated. Such as how do I find out what they are worth, who would I contact about selling them – that sort of thing. thanks!
I always assume that everyone looks on Ebay for prices. If you do an advanced search, using penn gold as the search criteria, you can see that in the past couple of weeks Penn Gold reels have sold for as much as $500.
If you don’t do Ebay, there are services that will sell on Ebay for you. They’ll do the research, price the items and Auction them. They’ll charge you about 30% of the gross.
