How long do derailleur’s last for?
Im wondering how long a front and rear derailleur should last and if it is properly oiled and adjusted regularly and the cable tension is correct etc how long do you think I should get out of both the front derailleur and rear.
The derailleur I have is shimano on both the front and rear which came with the bike. I have a racing bike.

Take care of them properly by cleaning & re-lubing your chain & cleaning & re-lubing the derailleurs from time to time too – and the derailleurs may out last you.
My local bike shop tells me that by replacing your chain every two years or so on a bike well ridden well help everything last longer too.
