Shimano Bait Casting
Bass Fishing – Bait Casting pole to attach to my Shimano Citica?

I can’t wait to start fishing! Just purchased my Shimano Citica, thanks to much of the help I’ve received from all of you.

But now.. I need a pole. I’m probably only willing to spend 60-70$, since I’m low now.. but that should be enough?
Any suggestions?

Thanks for all of your help!

Think about purchasing an “in-house” or “house-branded” rod from a company like Gander Mt, Cabelas, Bass Pro Shops, Etc.

That is the best way to get the most for your dollar AND most house-branded rods come with a “no questions asked” 1-2 year return policy.

Here are some examples:

1. Gander Mt-

2. Bass Pro Shop-

3. This is the perfect time of the year to start looking for a rod. Sales are everywhere! If you don’t want an in-house rod think about getting one of these:

A. Abu Garcia, Vendetta

B. Berkley, Shock Series- These are well within your price range, are durable, are VERY sensitive and light, and have a decent reputation. Within your price range I’d suggest you look seriously at these-

Hope this helps ya?
