I’m having a problem with my ci deck index shifter. the cable has come out how do i repair it?
its a ci deck shimano index shifter and 1/2 the cable has come out of the clamp. i don’t want to tear the whole thing apart for fear of not being able to put it back. how can do this?
How old is your bike? Is it still under warranty with the bike shop you bought it from? If this is the case take it to the bike shop and have them fix it for you makes it easier.
If it’s not under warranty I still say take it into the bike shop and ask them to look at it. It is hard to offer a remedy to this without seeing what you are talking about. The shop will be able to tell you if they can fix it or if the part is broken and needs to be replaced with a new one.
