line guide wont work on shimano reel?
i just bought a shimano calliston reel(gold one) and the line guide wont go in the ridges designed for it to catch to go back and forth and then when it does work when you reel to fast it gets caught and goes off, should i take it back?
Just take it back it will still be under guarantee, they will replace it, these things happen, don’t try to fix it your self or you may not get a replacement, sounds like the gears in the end plate which control the line guide are slipping.
