If I want monofilament on one of my rod/reel setups, which should it be?
These are my baitcasting setups: a 7′MH BPS Pro Qualifier XPS trigger rod with a Shimano Citica and a 7′M BPS Extreme XPS trigger rod with a Shimano Curado. The first setup is for jigs and plastics, and the second is for spinnerbaits and lipless cranks. Which setup should have mono on it, because I want to be able to throw buzzbaits also.
I personally HATE throwing lipless crankbaits on mono. And I dont like throwing jigs or worms on braid. I would put the mono on the jig rod and braid on the crank rod, but what do I know
