I have a abu garcia and don’t know what to do with it?
my fiance bought me a abu garcia ambassadeur TGC5000c reel on a Shakespeare alpha. Any body have some info on it. I believe its a salt water rod….
the reel anyway is a freshwater reel. l wouldn’t really advise using it in the ocean without disassembling and thoroughly cleaning all the salt and grit out of it after each use. it is a fine reel but it is aluminum and will corrode with much contact with salt. l didn’t get one for christmas. if you really don’t know what to do with it, you could…giveittome.
