does any one know of a great surf or beach caster reel ?
that can cover great distances and that can hold a great deal of line and line weight also has at least 4 ball bearings and it doesn’t matter if its fixed spool or a multiplier as i can handle both and hard wearing
Since you say its a multiplier as opposed to a “baitcaster” i assume you’re in the UK, as for casting distance you will always be able to get better distances with a baitcaster or what you call a multiplier, ball bearings don’t always account, some of the very cheap reels have 12 and it doesn’t make them any better, as for reels try the penn 525 super mag or for fishing less rocky ground the abu 6500 sports mag, level wind will slow down your reel, also worth a try is the abu 7000 rocket, all have magnetic breaks. The diawa 7ht millionare and the 7ht mag are also great reels for distance casting
