how to reline my kids closed face spinning reel?
I have a pflueger microspin u spinning reel I am trying to reline it and I can’t figure it out. It has the plastic cover with the hole in the center then under that it has a metal circular plate that screws onto the reel itself a d that also helps operate the line release. I can’t figure out how to put the line back on. Does it go on the side of that metal gear plate or through it somehow.
Thread the line through the cap, then tie the line around the spool, behind the “plate” you are referring to I believe. Just use a couple of overhand knots to tie the line around the spool. After that, place the cap back on the reel, and reel the line in. Be sure to apply some pressure when reeling the line in.
