My bait casting reel’s drag wont tighten. What do i do?
I have a Shimano Curado B5:1. I bought it maybe 2 years ago but never used it. I just started to get familier with it. I set the brakes where they need to be, and the friction knob where it needs to be. I tighten the star drag as tight as i can but the line still pulls right out of the reel. What do i do?
it very well could be you have the drag not closed off but opened all the way out. Shimano grease for drags is world renowned for being the best as well their reputation for their merchandise is second to very few. reverse the star drag.
