Looking for good American made fishing rod and reel?
I have researched these brands that have had good reviews in past but as more companions move across seas their reviews get bad with defects and such…like Penn. Shimano, daiwa, abu garcia, st. croix, and penn are what are said to be good but only if you can find ISA mde models. Any others that are good then?
quite a few rods. loomis, lamiglas, st croix, others.
several reels. the ones that immediately come to mind are ardent, for freshwater, and the gold penn international reels, then a few specialized SW reels starting with avet, van staal, a few others, all expensive.
