Casting or Spinning Reel?
I’m trying to get a setup for mostly boat/inshore fishing. I think I’m going to just go ahead and get an ugly stik tiger lite. I know they are affordable and durable and I’m pretty set on getting one unless anyone can suggest something better for a similar price. I’m just not sure what reel I want to get for the type of fishing I plan on doing. I would like to do some flounder fishing but have a setup that can be used for other purposes as well. Im currently looking at either an abu garcia 6500 or a shimano baitrunner, but I can’t decide if I want a casting combo or spinning. Im not sure if the spinning reel would be better for general-purpose saltwater applications.
Any advice or input to help me decide would be greatly appreciated.
