Which reel should I buy to pair up with a light action rod?

I would pick Daiwa Regal over Shimano Spirex because Spirex got a quick/trigger cast system AND a double handle. I don’t mind those features IF they were not found on the same reel. The combination of the two is not that good.
Handles on reels with quick/trigger cast systems would turn backwards during hook set so the bail could return to the exact same position before the anti-reverse would kick in. When a double handle turns backwards, the knob that’s free could bump into your hand or fingers. This usually only happens when the double handle needs to turn backwards quite a bit during a hook set (especially when there’s a lot of weight on the rod). Not fun and rather awkward.
PS: Daiwa Regal got an infinite anti-reverse.
