how do i turn the clicker off my penn general level wind reel?
it wont cast, it only clicks and then stops
Penn general purpose reels such as Penn #9 and Penn 209 can and will cast pretty well. Before you could cast it, you must disengage the clicker. The button for the clicker is located on the left side plate. The location of the clicker could vary depending on the model and the year(s) of manufacture. But, the general rule is, push the clicker button away from the center of the spool to disengage.
